AIBII (Conference on Technologies in Artificial Research) looks forward to welcoming authors and participants to the United Kingdom in June 2026. To assist with planning and ensure consistency across all presentations and publications, authors are required to carefully review and comply with the following policies. By submitting the camera-ready version of an accepted paper, authors acknowledge and agree to these terms.
In-Person Presentation Requirement
- At least one author of each accepted paper must present the paper in person and must register for the conference at the in-person rate.
- All paper presentations must be delivered on site. Remote or virtual presentation options will not be available for AIBII'26.
Acknowledgement of Policy at Camera-Ready Submission
At the time of camera-ready submission, authors of accepted papers will be required to explicitly acknowledge their commitment to the in-person presentation policy:
"I commit to an author presenting the paper in-person at AIBII'26. If exceptional circumstances arise that prevent the authors from presenting the paper in person, I will notify AIBII immediately. I acknowledge that if I do not notify AIBII about exceptional circumstances, the paper will not be included in the proceedings."
Policy on the Use of AI Systems in AIBII Publications
3.1 Plagiarism and Use of AI Systems (e.g., ChatGPT or Similar LLMs)
Papers that include text generated from large-scale language models (LLMs), such as ChatGPT, are prohibited unless the generated content is explicitly presented as part of the paper's experimental analysis. This policy does not prohibit authors from using LLMs for editing or polishing text they have written themselves.
3.2 AI Systems and Authorship
AIBII'26 follows the AIBII policy that AI systems, including generative models such as ChatGPT, Bard, or DALL-E, do not meet the criteria for authorship of papers published by AIBII and may not be cited as sources.
3.3 Handling Allegations of Plagiarism
Authors bear full responsibility for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of their submissions. Any allegation of plagiarism, whether related to the use of LLMs or other sources, will be thoroughly investigated by AIBII. Consequences may include:
- Rejection or retraction of the work
- Notification to all authors' institutions, employers, and relevant authorities
- Denial of service and access to all AIBII-sponsored meetings
